According to sources, there’s concern within Ring of Honor about their August 22nd Field of Honor show in Brooklyn now that it’s going up against an NXT Takeover show. The Field of Honor event was booked knowing that it would go up against an NXT show, but it was believed to be just a house show and not a Takeover special hosted at the Barclays Center.
That being said, early ticket sales for Field of Honor have been strong enough that they’re not changing the date. It is possible that they may try to get some more top names for the card, which already includes NJPW’s Shinsuke Nakamura, Kazuchika Okada and KUSHIDA.
