Backstage Rumor Killer: Sasha Banks Not Injured

There have been rumors that Sasha Banks was hurt in her match with Bayley at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn, particularly after taking the reverse hurricanrana from the top rope. It was believed that she may have landed on her head after the spot, which is why she wasn’t featured for very long in the SummerSlam Divas match the next night and was absent from RAW. Speculation picked up when the following slow motion video made it’s way online…

While Banks was sore after her match with Bayley, she’s not injured. She may have just been given some time to rest, as she didn’t wrestle on RAW or SmackDown. She does appear on SmackDown in a non-wrestling role this week.
