According to a number of people behind-the-scenes in TNA, the Haunted Halloween Tour was not canceled due to poor advance ticket sales or financial issues. The purported reason for the tour’s cancellation is because of TNA’s plans of taping material having changed recently, they no longer needed to film around that time. As a result, the decision was made to scrap the weekend shows.
Some wrestlers that were spoken to on the tour’s cancellation are not happy that the shows were scrapped. They are personally OK with getting partial payment for the tour, but they would rather be performing live than sit at home.
