WWE is planning to heavily invest in the Indian wrestling market. The move is beginning with the WWE Network launch in the country next month, which saw a big jump in stock prices.
PPVs on the Network will air on a delay due to the company’s current TV contract in India, and will start airing live at the end of the year. Since India’s population is so large, it is believed that they could be seen as a major force in wrestling thanks to the potential TV revenue it could generate.
