Kota Ibushi Suffers A Back Injury + NJPW ‘Power Struggle’ Lineup

— NJPW & DDT held a joint press conference this morning and announced Kota Ibushi will be out the Power Struggle event, due to suffering a cervical disc herniation. He had missed this past weekend’s DDT events. Due to the injury, Daisuke Sasaki and Kota Ibushi have vacated the DDT KO-D Tag Team Championship. The good news out of the presser was that Ibushi’s NJPW contract will be renewed (he has joint contracts with both companies), but DDT stated that he could be out of action “a long time”.
