UPDATE x 2: The word going around is that Finn Balor suffered a slightly sprained ankle at Friday night’s NXT house show. He was held off of last night’s event as a precaution, but did attend the event on crutches.
Balor will be checked out Monday at the WWE Performance Center in order to confirm the extent of his injury
UPDATE: WWE has officially confirmed that NXT champion Finn Balor was injured at last night’s NXT event in Nashville. They revealed that the injury was to Balor’s ankle.
WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann said: “Finn Bálor suffered an ankle injury, and will be unable to compete tonight.”
He will be evaluated on Monday. For what it’s worth, Finn doesn’t seem to be too upset about it. He wrote on Twitter:

ORIGINAL: According to a new report, Finn Balor might be suffering from some type of leg or ankle injury after last night’s NXT house show in Nashville, Tennessee. Balor was in action last night, beating Samoa Joe in the main event. He’s also scheduled to work tonight’s NXT live event in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Per reports, Balor was seen leaving the event last night on crutches, and he had his leg wrapped. Several fans reportedly saw Balor being loaded into a car after the event, and he could not move well on his own.
