AEW’s Jungle Boy, Jack Perry, paid tribute to his late father Luke Perry by climbing up a billboard in Los Angeles that featured Luke in his final role on film.
“Big premiere tonight. He deserved this, and I’m very proud of it. A stud in life, and forever after. The best of the best. Love you forever,” he said in a caption on Instagram.
The billboard, which is on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles, features Luke Perry in the role of “Scott” in the upcoming Quentin Tarantino movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
It’s Luke Perry’s last movie after he died suddenly from a stroke in March.
The movie will be released in the US nationwide this Friday, July 26 and is already playing in LA and NYC. It also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Al Pacino and Margot Robbie.
Jungle Boy is apparently in the movie as an extra, he told Chris Jericho on Talk Is Jericho in May. “I did some extra work. He’s like, ‘I want you to be in the same film, or like collection of footage that I’m in’ and he was really adamant about it. I was like alright dad, I’ll do it. So you may see me sitting behind someone special.”
