As noted before, pro wrestling and sports combat streaming service Triller Group Inc. was officially delisted from NASDAQ at the end of this past December due to financial-related issues.
Post Wrestling’s Jason Ounpraseuth reported that Triller recently released multiple quarterly reports and their annual 10-K filing for 2024 that had been demanded by NASDAQ in order for them to potentially remain on their stock market index.
In regards to AEW, Triller stated that AEW had accounted for around 24% and 19$ of the company’s consolidated revenue in 2024 and 2023. It was stated that Triller’s total consolidated revenue was $27,476,000 for 2024 and $54,189,000 for 2023. This would mean that AEW brought in around $6.6 million and $10.3 million respectively in consolidated revenue for those years for Triller.
No reason was given for why AEW-related revenue dropped from 2023 to 2024 nor why AEW’s percentage share grew over that time period despite the lower revenue.
TrillerTV is the current home of AEW Plus, which allows international viewers to watch AEW’s Dynamite and Collision shows and also provides the ability to purchase and watch AEW pay-per-view events on the service.
Besides TrillerTV, AEW PPVs have also been available to purchase on YouTube, PPV.com, Amazon Prime, and HBO MAX in recent years. AEW PPVs were previously available to purchase and watch on Bleacher Report’s BR Live streaming service.
