Lynch stated that she planned on talking about the injustice that happened at the Royal Rumble but instead saw who decided to return to her show. This led to Lee’s music playing to interrupt and she came out to the ring. After some back-and-forth banter, a growing deranged Lynch asked Lee what it would take to get rid of her and brought up how the Elimination Chamber would be in Lee’s hometown of Chicago. After some more words by Lynch, Lee responded wanting a match for Lynch’s title, which Lynch initially refused. This led to Lee responding back “no title, no match” which Lynch relented and agreed to the challenge. Lynch then told Lee that if Lee felt like she had been held down by “The Man” before, she had no idea what she was in for. Lynch then stormed out of the ring as Lee happily looked on.

During the show, Balor came out to the ring to interrupt Punk’s scheduled in-ring interview segment with Michael Cole. Balor grabbed a microphone and talked about his issues with Punk and issued a rematch challenge for Punk’s title in Punk’s hometown after their match in his hometown. This led to RAW GM Adam Pearce coming out rejecting Balor’s challenge request saying that he was not going to jeopardize the main event of WrestleMania 42 for this match. After some more words by Balor, Punk’s music played and came out to the ring causing Punk to escape and stood on top of the announcer’s table.
