Fit Finlay & William Regal Makes Surprise Appearance, Charlie Dempsey Turns Heel on Tavion Heights & Joins Birthright

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center featured Charlie Dempsey turning heel on Tavion Heights and joining Birthright.

Dempsey’s heel turn was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Lexis King trying to recruit Dempsey into his group due to him coming from a wrestling family like all of the others except for Stacks in Birthright. During tonight’s show, Uriah Connors was seen training backstage with the rest of Birthright and King asked Connors if he made the call. Connors responded saying that his dad did.

During the tag team match between No Quarter Catch Crew (Heights & Dempsey) vs. Birthright (King & Connors), all four went to the outside after Dempsey and Heights sent both King and Connors over the ropes. Dempsey and Heights sent King & Connors back into the ring and Heights followed. This led to Fit Finlay and William Regal coming out to the stage and Dempsey looking at both of them before turning his attention back towards the ring. Dempsey pulled Heights out and laid him out with a German Suplex and tossed him back into the ring. This led to Birthright managing to pick up the pinfall victory. Following the match, Dempsey looked at Finlay and Regal before making his way back into the ring and officially joined Birthright as their newest member.
