In-Ring: Adam Copeland, FTR, Stokely Hathaway, RPG Vice, The Young Bucks
"We will take our pound of flesh!"

FTR may have decreed that @RatedRCope + @Christian4Peeps can't challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Titles, but it's about MORE than that to Cope + Cage!

Satur–I mean, Thursday night’s alright for Collidin’!
Commentary welcomes us to the show as Adam Copeland makes his way out to ringside. He takes a microphone, addressing what happened at Dynasty. He says FTR did what they set out to do, while also noting that Cage is not here because he’s getting an MRI. He also addresses the situation about Cage and Cope not getting another shot at the titles. If FTR thinks that this is all over because the pair didn’t win, that they’re gonna tuck their tails and walk away…it ain’t happening.
Cope brings up Cage being retired for seven years before coming back, and himself being retired for nine years, before promising to get their pound of flesh. He is interrupted by the arrival of FTR and Stokely, only to be blindsided by Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero in the ring! FTR slide in to join in the beatdown, until the Young Bucks make their way out for the save. They send RPG Vice down before landing superkicks on the tag champs.
Romero and Trent try to sneak attack them but take a pair of superkicks, with Trent being laid out with a spear by Cope. He shakes hands with the Bucks as FTR and Stoke retreat up the entrance ramp. Cope leaves the ring, leaving us with the Bucks ahead of our opening contest.

First, a word from Jack Perry! He talks about beating Mark Davis before telling Don Callis to pick another of his goons to step up to the champ on Wednesday. I’m almost completely distracted by some random background noise, which I can only assume is Perry’s leather jacket against the National Championship. Anyway, Collision rolls on!
The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed)
"The numbers may change, but the mission stays the same!"

The Dogs have descended to send a violent message to the @YoungBucks, The Rascalz and the ENTIRE tag team division!
Watch #AEWCollision on TNT + HBO Max pic.twitter.com/l6vqPm2FRD
Elite-related chants as we start things off with Nick and Wentz. The pair lock up, with Nick wringing the arm of Zachary who counters into an arm drag. Nick hits the ropes and lands a wheel kick on Wentz before sending him back to the ropes. Tag made by Matt as the Bucks double-team Wentz, but he gets the tag to Reed. Bucks go to work on the fresher man, landing a German suplex into a sunset flip for good measure.
Reed sent to the corner for a pair of kicks by the Bucks, who turn their attention to Wentz landing a double stomp after a tag to Nick before taking Reed out with a backstabber. Reed starts to fight back, keeping the Bucks away long enough for a tag to Wentz. He gets the Bucks to the outside, setting up for what I can best describe as Poetry in Motion by Reed as he goes flying onto the Bucks on the floor! They bring Nick back into the ring and Wentz bridges off a German suplex, but it’s only good for two as we go to an ad break.
Back in the ring, Nick hits the ropes to take both Rascalz down before making a tag to Matt, who goes to work on Wentz with a locomotion suplex combo. Wentz sends him to the outside, but he lands a superkick on Reed on the floor before coming back into the ring. Double-team by the Bucks leads to a high-five bulldog sending both Rascalz to the mat. They climb the turnbuckles for a senton bomb and leg drop combo, but Matt’s cover is only good for a two count as Wentz kicks out.
Tag made to Nick as the Bucks continue the attack, leading to a double Sharpshooter before Wentz gets to the ropes to force a break. Bucks land some superkick before Reed dodges one, leading to Matt taking one on the chin. Bucks start to fight back before Wentz lands a cutter off the ropes, and Reed sends Nick down hard to the outside with a dive called the Burnout. Wentz goes up top for a senton, followed by the No Cap Splash by Reed…but Nick breaks the pin at the last second!
“AEW” chant as Wentz hoists Matt up, but Nick breaks things up with a hurricanrana on Reed. Superkick on Wentz is followed by a BTE Trigger on Reed for the cover…but Went breaks that up just in the nick of time! He gets the tag as he goes for a torneo, but he gets caught by the Bucks who look for a TK Driver to no avail. Roll up by Went gets a two count, and he goes after Nick on the apron only to be dropped by Matt…and this allows the Bucks to take the win with a TK Driver!
Winner: The Young Bucks via Pinfall.
Bucks celebrate the win for just a moment, before The Dogs blindside them and the Rascalz in the ring. Desmond Xavier looks to make the save but is laid out by Finlay, before Connors drops Reed with a shoulder block. They bring Wentz into the ring for a Full Clip, before Finlay calls for a mic. He says they may be down a Dog but if you’re gonna kill one of them you have to kill ALL of them. The numbers may change but the mission stays the same. Connors adds a message to the tag division, telling them they’re all about to be screwed.
Their music hits as commentary runs down what’s to come later tonight.

AEW World Trios Championship Eliminator Match
Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal, Blake Christian, & Lee Johnson) vs. The Conglomeration (Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, & Orange Cassidy) (c)
Lethal starts things off with O’Reilly, sending him to the corner before Kyle fights back for a two count. Tag made to Cassidy, and they set up for a Manhattan drop into a running boot. Cassidy gets a one count before cinching in a side headlock on Lethal, who slips away as Cassidy goes for a tag to Strong. Lethal makes the tag to Johnson as Strong sets him up for a tag and an elbow drop from Cassidy, who opts to stay on the ground for it. Lee breaks away for a tag to Christian, only for Cassidy to trap Blake’s hands in his own pockets. Blake is riled up as he sends Orange to the ropes, but takes a Stundog Millionaire.
Johnson tries to get into the ring, and this distracts the ref allowing Lethal to go after Strong and O’Reilly on the apron. Christian with an Asai moonsault keeping Strong on the floor, before the Lethal Twist take Cassidy to the mat for a strut as we go to ad break.
Back in the ring, Cassidy blocks a sunset flip before tagging in Strong, who goes to work on all three opponents leading to a backbreaker on Christian before sending him into Johnson. Cassidy comes in for an assist before Strong gets a nearfall on Lethal. Kyle tags in as he sends Lethal to the outside before laying in some hard kicks on Johnson. Lethal comes in, countering a leg whip into a cradle for two. Lethal Twist combo leads to a King’s Elbow (ooooh yeaaaaah) but Cassidy breaks the pin just in time.
Blake comes in to go after Cassidy, trading “offense” with him until Orange responds with a big right hand. Christian bounces back up as all six men go at it, leading to Lethal getting a figure four leglock on O’Reilly…until Blake gets sent crashing into Lethal to break the hold.
Johnson gets the tag but gets caught in an ankle lock by O’Reilly as Strong lays Lethal out with a running knee. Cassidy drops Blake with an Orange Punch as Kyle drops down to cinch the ankle lock in deeper, and Johnson taps out!
Winner: The Conglomeration via Submission.

Back at ringside, Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida make their entrance for our next match. Big Anne and Danika Della Rouge are already in the ring and this match gets underway!
Statlander starts things off with Della Rouge, taking her down hard before Big Anne tags in…only to be sent into the corner by Stat, who makes the tag to Shida. She lays into Anne before sending her into Danika in the corner, forcing the latter to the outside as she lands a hard right hand on Anne on the apron.
She returns to the ring for a Falcon Arrow on Anne, and appears to be lining up the Kitana…only to tag in Statlander instead! “Thursday” Night Fever by Kris is followed by a pin as the pair pick up a win.
Winner: Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander via Pinfall.
The pair celebrate up the ramp as we get some hype for our final two matches, with the Continental Title Eliminator match coming up next!
AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match
Nick Wayne vs. Jon Moxley (c)
DEATH RIDER spells the end for @TheNickWayne!

Watch #AEWCollision on TNT + HBO Max pic.twitter.com/LGiwycOGOj
We head back to ringside as Jon Moxley makes his way through the crowd for our next match. Nick Wayne makes his way out next, with commentary addressing this is his first AEW match since returning from injury as we get underway.
Wayne leaves the ring to enjoy the adulation from the hometown crowd, as he looks to do as well tonight as Darby Allin did at Dynamite. He returns to the ring and is met with a few holds by Mox, breaking out of a side headlock only to be sent to the mat with a hammerlock. Nick counters out of that but is brought down for a one count by the champ.
Mox wears down Nick some more before playing to the crowd, which gives Wayne an opening to land a snapmare on the champ. He starts mocking Mox, calling for him to land a chop…and Mox does just that, before sending him to the corner for another chop. He follows with some mounted punches, and a final chop for good measure as Wayne drops to the canvas. Wayne counters an Irish whip and lands an uppercut on the champ, followed by a snapmare and a couple leg drops. He kicks Mox in the head to mock him, and Moxley seems slightly riled as he leaves the ring for a breather.
He gets back in the ring and…offers a handshake to Wayne? Nick eventually accepts, and this just allows the champ to pull him in for a piledriver. Mox walks away from the scene of the crime as we go to an ad break.
Back in the ring, Mox continues to go to work on Wayne as he wrenches the neck and shoulder. Mox breaks the hold as Wayne escapes to the corner, fighting back with a middle rope dropkick sending the champ to the mat. Mox is back up and the pair start trading shots as we get an announcement that we’re at the halfway point on the time limit. Wayne manages to take Mox down hard, but only gets a two count.
With both men up, Wayne looks for a full nelson but the champ counters out. Nick goes for another but is broken away as Mox ends up taking Wayne to the mat with a boot. Wayne counters the champ with a Code Red for a close nearfall. Mox dodges a roundhouse kick for a cutter, but only gets a two count. He transitions into a crossface as Nick struggles for a way out of the hold, finding a weak spot by going after the eye of the champ.
Mox starts stomping away at him, and this fires Wayne up as he gets to his feet for some forearm strikes…before Mox takes a bite out of him! Nick responds by spitting in the face of the champ before kicking him out of the ring. He goes up top, landing a moonsault that takes Mox to the floor. He brings the champ back in for Wayne’s World, but Mox fights out of it…only for Wayne to counter a Paradigm Shift for a jackknife cover for two!
He follows with a kick that knocks the champ down to the mat, but Mox catches him with a neckbreaker into a bulldog choke. Nick is trying to get to the ropes, and despite his best efforts Jon is forced to break the hold as we’re told five minutes remain. Wayne fires back up with some more strikes, only to take a Death Rider DDT as Mox takes the win.
Winner: Jon Moxley via Punfall.
Mox celebrates his win as commentary puts over the fight Nick gave, and how that may set the stage for his run in the upcoming NJPW Best of the Super Juniors tournament. Up next, PAC takes on Lio Rush!
Backstage: Don Callis, Kazuchika Okada

Backstage, we hear from Don Callis and Kazuchika Okada. Callis says he can get Okada out of the promised match against Takeshita since it’s clear he didn’t play by the arrangement they made, but Okada insists he wants this match because he’s a champion…unlike Takeshita. He walks off, and Collision moves on.
PAC vs. Lio Rush
He's SMILING?! @IAmLioRush has completely unnerved @BASTARDPAC + Daniel Garcia!

We return to ringside as PAC makes his way through the crowd for our next match. He enters the ring as Lio Rush makes his entrance next, and I’d like to make an observation this is my first time seeing the “Blackheart” here in AEW as Rush makes his way to the ring. PAC leaves the ring, staring Rush down alongside Garcia before finally coming back into the ring to get this match underway.
Rush is not fighting the Gollum comparisons as he continues having a conversation in the corner with…himself, I think…with PAC reluctant to engage. He eventually goes after the Blackheart, who simply charges back at him. Garcia tries to coach PAC in the corner as PAC tries to get back into it, only for Rush to jump onto him in a manner that sends PAC back. PAC leaves the ring only to be grabbed by Lio, leading to PAC clearly running away from the Blackheart. Garcia starts to intervene, and this only leads to Rush getting the jump on Daniel instead…until PAC blindsides him, landing a few shots before regrouping.
Garcia takes advantage of a distracted ref by trying to get a few shots on Rush, before PAC drops the Blackheart with a tombstone piledriver on the floor. He enters the ring as the ref begins the count, which reaches eight when we go to an ad break. Will Lio Rush be able to beat the count and return to the ring by the time we come back? Probably.
Back in the ring, PAC finally manages to really get some momentum as he sends Rush flying into the corner with a release belly to belly suplex. PAC heads up top but watches as Rush do a spider pose before getting back to his feet. PAC drops down and starts getting into it with the Blackheart, who sends PAC to the outside before doing an animalistic charge into a dive on PAC against the barricade.
PAC comes back into the ring behind Rush, who lands a springboard stunner for two. Rush continues the offense with a reverse rana, but only gets a nearfall off that as well as he starts confronting the ref about the count. Stunner on PAC with a cravat held on, as Garcia tries to intervene on the apron.
Rush starts to go after him to “eat his face” chants, with Garcia to sprinkle “holy water” on the Blackheart, allowing PAC to take him down with a German suplex before setting up a Brutalizer…and Rush seems to “go out with a smile” as the ref calls for the bell!
Winner: PAC via Referee Stoppage.
PAC gets his hand raised on the outside before he and Garcia make haste to leave through the crowd.

we head to ringside as his partner Brody King makes his entrance for our next match. He is followed by Mascara Dorado and Mistico, entering to the latter’s absolute banger of a CMLL theme as the luchadores join King heading into the ring. Ricky Gibson, Bull Rivera and KC Riff are already in the ring as their opponents enter to get this match underway!
Gibson (not Riff, sorry Nigel) tries to sneak attack King but gets sent to the outside, and Rivera and Riff also face King’s wrath before being sent to the outside, where all three men take dives by both Mistico and Dorada. Gibson gets sent back into the ring as Brody drops him with a Ganso Bomb for the win.
Winner: Mistico, Brody King, & Mascara Dorada via Pinfall.
Brody gives a shoutout to his buddy Bandido
Backstage: Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida, Mina Shirakawa

The two circle the mat before Windsor charges at the champ, who dodges her not once but twice before leaving the ring for a breather. She forces the challenger to chase her back into the ring, where Thekla catches her with some right hands. Windsor manages to fight back, but the champ catches her with a forearm from the apron. Thekla hits the ropes, but the challenger drops her to the mat. Windsor goes for a submission hold, but Thekla quickly scrambles to the ropes forcing a break.
Thekla leaves the ring for just a moment, getting the match back in her control as she sends the challenger to the outside…and lands a double ax handle keeping Windsor down on the floor as we go to an ad break.
We come back from break just as Thekla traps Windsor in a Tarantula, before following up with a nearfall back in the ring. She brings Windsor to the corner for a chop, and a second one for good measure. Windsor stops her from a hammer throw before sending the champ across the ring, and throws Thekla off for a big shoulder tackle.
Thekla fights off a Sharpshooter, but is dropped hard to the canvas for a nearfall by the challenger. Windsor stops the champ to land a headbutt, and the two women trade strikes until Alex drops the champ with another headbutt. Sharpshooter is locked in and Thekla crawls to the ropes for a break.
Thekla fights back as she hits the ropes, setting up for a modified octopus hold on the challenger…who powers herself to the ropes forcing the break! Thekla lands a kick to get back into things, only for both women to drop to the mat. The fight ends up in the corner, where the champ is going at it with Windsor before trying to use some brass knuckles…only to take a headbutt by the challenger!
Windsor goes for a sunset powerbomb but the champ lands a brass knuck shot…hiding the evidence before taking Windsor out with a stomp for the win!
Winner: Thekla via Pinfall to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Thekla celebrates her win as Collision goes off the air.
