Lola Vice Bids Farewell to NXT After August 4 WWE NXT Show

As noted before, Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured Kendal Grey defeating Lola Vice in a NXT Underground match to retain her NXT Women’s Championship. This match was notable for Vice’s undefeated streak in NXT Underground matches being broken.

Following the show, Vice gave her goodbyes to the fans and thanked the crowd and left her gloves in the ring.

Vice’s boyfriend Damian Priest made a surprise appearance and embraced prior to her farewell speech to the NXT brand.

Vice is currently believed to have recently been officially called up to WWE’s main roster and is expected to join the SmackDown brand.

Dragon Lee Provides Update on his Thumb Injury & Return Plans

As noted before, Dragon Lee has been out of action for WWE and Lucha Libre AAA since this past July due to a torn ligament injury in his left thumb.

A recent episode of the Notsam Wrestling Live podcast featured Lee as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Lee providing an update on his recovery from his thumb injury and him not knowing how long he will be out of action. Lee also stated that he currently does not want to undergo surgery to repair his thumb.

“My last match. That was on TV… When I came back to my locker room, my finger was swollen, and I couldn’t move and I was like, ‘I don’t know what’s happened.’ It’s happened many times in wrestling. But the doctor, he touched me and he told me, ‘Can you move like this?’ ‘Yes.’ He touched me and, ‘Ah! It’s painful.’ I got an X-ray; it’s okay, and then MRI… I have a tear… Damn, I wanted to wrestle… I don’t know for how (much) time I’m gonna be out but, I don’t wanna get surgery… It’s gonna get surgery and I’m gonna stop for three, four months and I don’t want that. They told me with this one, maybe I probably will wrestle. It’s fine. Hopefully they let me wrestle.”

Brock Lesnar Comments on His Current Plans for His Post-Retirement From His Wrestling Career

As noted before, this past Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night 1 event in Minneapolis, Minnesota featured Oba Femi defeating Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell match. Following the match, Lesnar gave a speech praising Femi calling himself as the “past” and Femi as the future. Lesnar officially announced his retirement from WWE and his wrestling career in a recent interview with The Pat McAfee Show.

During his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Lesnar gave his thoughts about his current plans for his post-retirement from wrestling.

“I got some hunting lined up and I got two boys in hockey. I’m gonna support that, their dreams, as long as that’s feasible and my daughter — she’s got her eye on 2028 Olympics and just gonna spend some more time with the kids and in the woods and just reap what I’ve sown, you know? Just enjoy life. I spent the last two days in bed. I got run over by a Nigerian Nightmare dump truck Saturday night. It’s time. I’m 49, and I still wanna be able to get around and move. But I’m grateful, very grateful and Oba (Femi) was great, the WWE universe, everybody — I wanna thank the promotion itself, TKO, and I wanna thank Dana White and the UFC and the Minnesota Vikings and the University of Minnesota. Everybody that believed in me and took a chance on me and I’m just grateful… So grateful. Thanks. I can’t believe it.”
