— As noted before, WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix was in action at Monday’s WWE Superstars tapings – facing Alicia Fox. A source indicates that Beth was originally scheduled to be in action on RAW but her match was replaced with the Kelly Kelly vs. Nikki Bella match. Beth wrote after RAW was over: “Another Raw goes by and the Glamazon reigns as queen. Why? #nocompetition #DivasChampionForever #queenofthering”
— It was reported last week that former WWE talent Rex King (Timothy Well) had passed away. The information came from Puerto Rico where he had wrestled for years. As it turns out, the information was a mistranslation and King is not dead. King’s ex-wife and his mother got in touch with King, who was unaware of the reports. It should be noted that he is alive and well. King is currently living in Greenup, Kentucky. He suffered a neck injury at a WWC 2001 show in Puerto Rico which was made worse by a second story fall through a patio deck a few years back. King needs neck surgery which is where the mistranslation about his death came in.
