Final SD! Rating Is In, ‘Mania 25th Anniversary Special, & More

Friday’s edition of WWE Smackdown scored a 1.9 network rating.

The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania TV special that is set to air on NBC on Saturday night will not air in New York City. WNBC channel 4 in New York City will instead air the New York Jets pre-season football game.

Every year A-list celebrities from all genres of entertainment take part in the WrestleMania celebration. This year, Mickey Rourke rocked the ring. The Golden Globe winning and Oscar nominated star of “The Wrestler” got caught up in the action and interjected himself into a match, making headlines around the world. The one-hour special will feature mainstream, rock, pop and hip-hop from today’s biggest artists including AC/DC, Korn, The Hives, Borne, Ryan Star, Hollywood Undead and Kevin Rudolf.
