Jeff Hardy Update, ‘Mania Special, ‘Taker vs. Punk, Lots More

Turns out the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania special will air in New York City on NY Nonstop, a channel owned by NBC, at 9PM ET. The channel is available to all area cable subscribers. The special won’t air on NBC due to the New York Giants vs. New York Jets pre-season football game.

Jeff Hardy is now listed for all upcoming Smackdown tapings expect next week in Cleveland. Last week, WWE.com did not have Hardy listed for any of those shows. This will obviously spark talk that Hardy has decided to stay with WWE after all, but that’s just speculation at this point as the most likely story here is WWE.com making an error.

The Undertaker vs. CM Punk is set as the dark main event for the September 8th Smackdown taping.

An appearance by The Undertaker is being advertised for next week’s taping in Cleveland, OH, along with dark main events of DX vs. Legacy in a steel cage and Big Show & Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio & Great Khali.
