The one-hour version of the WWE Tribute to the Troops special that aired on Saturday night drew just 1.31 million viewers for NBC. The show drew a dismal 0.3 rating amongst 18-49 year old viewers. This tied for the lowest mark of the night for the four major networks (CBS, ABC, NBC and FOX).
The special reportedly did the lowest numbers of the night for NBC’s prime time block. It also averaged the least number of viewers for any prime time show on Saturday.
The Wednesday night airing of the two-hour version on USA Network drew a reported 2.34 million viewers. It did a 0.8 rating amongst 18-49 year-olds.
The NBC special faced some very strong competition on Saturday as ESPN featured a big NFL game between the Atlanta Falcons and the Detroit Lions. No word on the ratings for that game as of this writing.
