— Following the WWE SmackDown tapings, The Shield defeated The Wyatt Family in a six-man tag-team match. Ambrose had a near fall on Wyatt following a rollup from a Sister Abigail attempt. Reigns punched Wyatt and Harper and speared Harper for the win to end the show.
— It was announced at Tuesday night’s WWE Main Event and SmackDown tapings in Atlanta, GA that Big E. vs. Rusev will take place at Sunday night’s WWE Payback pay-per-view event. Adam Rose vs. Jack Swagger had been rumored but no official announcement was made at the TV tapings.
