**SPOILERS** Live Notes From Last Night’s SmackDown Tapings

Ottawa Notes
– Attendance was awful. *MAYBE* 4000 people, in a 20, 000 seat arena. Lower bowl was 2/3rds full (as maybe a couple handful of people on the side of the hard cameras), upper sections were largely blacked out, and floor was full, but not sold out. There is a reason WWE only comes here once a year, and weren’t even ranked on that internal document that circulated a month ago. WWE would be better suited running a smaller arena in the city (TD Place Arena is newly renovated and holds 10K… much better and logical choice in the future.)

– Charlotte got a decent reaction for her dark match (between Main Event tapings and Smackdown taping). Some of the crowd knew who she was, and scattered NXT chant attempts.

Main Event results
* Adam Rose over Zack Ryder
* Jack Swagger over Bo Dallas in a quick match
* Curtis Axel and Damian Sandow went to a no contest, after The Ascension ran in and destroyed both, and cut a promo. Before the match, Axel and Sandown had an exchange backstage, where Axel confronted Sandow on his imitation of his gimmick. Sandow then basically decided instead of ripping off Hogan, he would become “Macho Mandow”. For the match, Mandow came out in a Macho-like outfit.
* Post beat-down, the Ascension promo stated that “throw-back 80’s style gimmicks were stupid”, and kind of poked fun at themselves as they cut an 80’s style promo.

Post SmackDown:
– Cameras probably stopped rolling with Rollins standing tall following the brawl. To send fans home happy, Reigns and Ambrose (who was by far the most over star of the night), cleared the ring, and Reigns speared Rollins through the table.
