WWE has announced that fresh off his retirement as the host of The Daily Show, Jon Stewart will host this weekend’s SummerSlam. Stewart, a longtime fan of WWE, did a storyline with Seth Rollins earlier this year which led to his appearance on Raw. Rollins also appeared in a segment during Stewart’s final week on the Comedy Central series.
Stewart officially finished up his run on The Daily show on August 6th, ending a sixteen-year run on the series. You can see the clip of Stewart and Rollins on Raw in March below.
SummerSlam takes place on Sunday and will air on the WWE Network.
