Update: The Homicide Case Against Kurt Angle’s Brother

WKYT reports that Kurt Angle 62-year-old brother David has been ordered to stand trial on charges that he murdered his wife. David waived his right to a preliminary hearing on criminal homicide and other charges Friday. Kurt was at Pittsburgh City Court. He was seen wiping away years and hugging the family of his sister-in-law.

Allegheny Count homicide detectives say David was arguing with the 57-year-old Donna about vodka in their Dormont home on September 20. She tried to kick him, so he dragged her off the couch, stepped on her chest and pulled her arms before she lost consciousness. He called 911 when he couldn’t wake her up. David remains in jail. Attorney William Difenderfer said he will wait for his trial to present his defense.
