ROH is trying to lock the Young Bucks and other top stars into long-term deals in order to avoid WWE from stealing them away in a roster raid. As previously reported, WWE has their eye on many indy talents who work ROH and the independent promotion is looking to sign the Bucks among others to longterm contracts to block any overtures WWE may make.
The deal that ROH is looking to get the Bucks into would allow them the right to approve or deny other independent dates the team wants to work. The team headlines shows for many smaller cards, so this could have an effect on their availability for those shows. ROh would likely allow the Bucks to continue working for New Japan as part of the Bullet Club.
The Bucks have turned down WWE deals in the past.
