Roddy Piper’s Piper’s Pit is no longer on Podcast One and according to the Hall of Famer, it was because of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Piper said in his latest episode, titled “Stone Cold” and available on SoundCloud and other platforms, that a satirical segment involving Will Sasso got that segment’s episode removed from the platform.
According to Piper, Sasso impersonated Steve Austin and Piper asked “Austin” why he no-showed WrestleMania 31 as well as why he quit so many times. Piper says that although it was clearly satirical, Austin wasn’t happy with it and the episode was removed after six hours. Piper added that Podcast One threatened to fire him, so he moved on from them.
