ESPN South Florida and Good Karma Wrestling held a recent interview with Harley Cameron. One of the topics discussed included Cameron’s thoughts about AEW’s upcoming debut event at the SoFi Center for their AEW Collision Fairway to Hell show.
“It’s very exciting. It’s a place of legend. You’re about to get some wrestling legends in there. I think it’s very cool, and obviously it’s a really cool venue and the first time that they’ve done anything like this with the wrestling. So, you know, we’re going to have to make sure it’s a great first impression.”
Cameron also gave her thoughts about the online criticisms over her backstage segment with Mina Shirakawa at this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite and Collision three-hour show involving her bra being exposed after Shirakawa had ripped open her shirt during a pep talk.
“Look, Mina got all riled up and she just thought I was wearing my gear underneath, which I wasn’t. For everyone who had a heart attack over it, let me just preface the fact that my wrestling gear is actually like just a bra. I wrestle in a bra, if anyone takes care to notice. So for everyone that was like, ‘Oh my gosh,’ Mina is next to me in her gear. Our gear is bras. You know, I was like, when she ripped the shirt, I was like, I ought to take the rest of it off now, you know. For anyone that was a little bit taken aback, guys, just watch my matches. I wear a lot less.”
