Earlier this week, WWE confirmed that Randy Orton was injured and that he will be out 4 to 6 months. Orton had been working on a bad shoulder that was giving him some trouble, but it was nothing out of the ordinary. While taking out the trash, he dislocated his shoulder and it was out for several hours.
According to sources, Orton had an MRI, and the results showed that he has Bankart lesion (an injury of the anterior (inferior) glenoid labrum of the shoulder due to anterior shoulder dislocation) in his shoulder, some stretched ligaments, a dislocated shoulder and a partially torn rotator cuff. He was told that without surgery that the shoulder would continue to dislocate easily. If he gets surgery he could return for WrestleMania.
